Hi, I'm Mel
I trained in holistic, therapeutic and sports massage therapy with the renowned Brighton School of Massage, under some of the UK's top therapists. I bring my skills and knowledge together with an empathetic and realistic approach to treatment, whether providing a relaxing, de-stressing massage, or helping you get back to your best. Many people see massage as a luxury, but I see it as essential maintenance, whether you want to ease away the stresses of modern-living or perhaps you're recovering from injury, massage can provide huge benefits for mind, body and soul.
My Story
With a father in the Navy and a curious nature, I was destined to travel. And I love to dance. An early career as a professional dancer was sadly cut short by injury, but targeted physiotherapy and a managed approach to exercise and stretching aided my recovery. My next life stage saw me qualify as a professional music-exercise instructor, and you'll often still see me at a local Zumba class!
I continued to travel, and my love of South and Central America, and South East Asia in particular, introduced me to a world of alternative therapies, massage, yoga and meditation.
And of course, being a mother, and having worked in the caring professions, and at the other end of the spectrum, in city finance, I fully understand the stresses and strains of everyday life.
Worthing eventually became my home, satisfying my twin loves of wide open spaces and of the ocean. I still dance, I practice yoga, and have competed in triathlon and long-distance open-water swimming.
I live in Worthing with my husband, two children and an ever-evolving menagerie of animals.
